Hydraulic Oils
Hydraulic fluids main task is to transfer energy in a hydraulic system. This should be carried out without too much frothing, variation in viscosity dependant of temperature, damage to seal/gasket material or corrosion on alloys. Product is based on an oil of mineral of synthetic quality, or water based (HFC).
Analysis:
An analysis of hydraulic fluids should reveal wear metals, contamination or additive elements plus chemical and physical properties of sample. By comparing the these values with new oil and/or previous samples from the same systems we are able to form a opinion of the current state. It can also be beneficial to evaluate larger particles in regards to wear pattern and also purity. Some system are made with components and pressure that require very clean oil.
