Flame retardant hydraulic fluids
Flame retardant hydraulic fluids are produced with qualities to prevent danger of ignition. They are classified by ISO 67434 and DIN 51502 standards.
Laboratory analysis has been a long standing part in condition-based maintenance of these fluids and the goal is to help maintain stability in production lines and reduce costs for our customers.
Examples:
- Low water content may indicate excess heat in system, and may cause reduction in flame retarding properties
- Low pH may indicate loss of anti corrosion properties.
